First, we have to share their sweet engagement story!
Thanksgiving is a special time for my family, where we all travel from various places to Smuggler's Notch in Vermont, our home away from home. David knows just how important family is to me and how much I enjoy spending this time with our families and knew I wanted family around when he popped the question. The day before, he went shopping with his mom for the ring and she bestowed him a diamond he gave to her as a child for the engagement ring. That evening he asked my dad for his permission to ask me to marry him - a question my dad was waiting for. The day before Thanksgiving, at our Thanksgiving meal, the food was blessed and everyone was ready to eat. After the blessing David stood, shared thanks for everyone being in our lives and how thankful he was for having me as his best friend for the last two years before getting down on one knee and asking me to spend the rest of our lives together. Of course, I said yes and couldn't have asked for a better day.
Krista and Josh had the pleasure of capturing their beautiful wedding at Yorktown Farms, accompanied by their cute and furry ringbearer! Their evening ended with a little dancing in the rain & that didn't stop our team from getting some memorable shots!
Jon Bausman officiated their ceremony and Soundwaves kept the fun going throughout the evening, and fun is what they had! Michelle's gorgeous flowers were designed by Butera the Florist. Hair and makeup by Kelsey Grammer. Her gown was purchased at David's Bridal and his tux from Men's Wearhouse!
We hope you love their images as much as we did capturing them!
