Katie and Mikesh met on a tennis court at Southwestern High School in the summer before their senior year of high school. To propose, Mikesh told Katie that they were playing doubles with a group of people that she didn't know on a Saturday morning (their first free day in months!).

It ended up raining (can't play outside when it rains!) but Mikesh told her there was indoor backup, but they'd still meet at these courts. He made up an elaborate story by the time all was said and done!! Courts were wet and they were the only ones there, so he asked if she wanted to go play short court.

After they got out of the car, she realized this was where they met! They walked to the court where they originally met, hit balls for about 10 min, then when they were both at the net to pick up a ball, Mikesh pulled out a ring and proposed!

They were married on May 26th at Wyndham Gardens in York in a beautiful ceremony, check out some of our favorites from their wedding day!
